About

An exciting new makers space located in Diamond Harbour village beside historic Stoddart Cottage and Gallery.

The Merrymakers Shed was placed on the site in 1977 for use by the peninsula merrymakers, an amateur theatre group.

The building has recently been renovated, removing the old garage door and replacing it with a glass french door, immediately flooding the place with natural light.

The location is delightful. Whether journeying by road or ferry, either way the scenery is stunning. Parking is usually plentiful, and there are good options for coffee and food, as well as multiple scenic walks nearby.

Newly completed, the Merrymakers Shed hosted its first workshop on 6th June 2026. It is now available for managed creative workshops or to rent for popups.
